What is a Garden?

There's a natural dichotomy between 'landscaping' - a flat, unidimensional composition- and 'gardening'- a rich, mysterious composition, surprising from every direction, inviting an out-of-doors living expereince,

A Garden is a self-conscious and living event, a place that looks out from itself, wondering where the viewing eyes come, striving to present the best to every conceivable viewer.

Gardens are easily divided into 'public' and 'private', and it is those private, special places where MSA Design truly excels.
