Naysayers think that cutting the grass and buzzing the shrubs is simpleton’s work.
They are wrong.
The maintenance world is full of very qualified professionals. I have never had a company show anything but appreciation when asked to incorporate our specifications. However, do remember: qualified providers bring a lot to the table. They bring experience and practical knowledge. Be prepared to make contract revisions, because the successful contractor will improve it. This happens after the pricing phase, however.

The construction industry depends on reliable specifications. Why? Specs are the primary way a contractor learns what you want him to do.
